CM Chicken Grandview

First and last time ordering from this place. We placed a phone order for two portions of chicken — one spicy and one non-spicy (we confirmed this several times during the call) — along with two portions of rice, which unfortunately turned out to be a bland, starchy mass with no flavor. When we arrived to pick up the order, our daughter woke up, so we asked if we could eat inside instead. The server went to ask the manager, and the answer was a firm “no,” even though the restaurant was completely empty. We explained that we had ordered takeout because our daughter had been asleep at the time, but there was no willingness to be flexible. We decided to eat in the car. Finally found a Halal Korean fried chicken spot in Columbus! We tried the Sweet Chili fried chicken, Garlic spicy and Sweet Galbi and we loved all of them. This place is a must try! The staff is also very gentle.

CM opened another spot, this one in Grandview. Very cute place with KPop vibes. The Chicken was crispy and juicy! Definitely lived up to the hype. Will definitely go back to try the different flavors. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am always on the hunt for good wings and this place has been added to the top of my list 👌🏾

Came on a Thursday with a few eater friends for Korean fried chicken whose national brand hails from Virginia. Was thoroughly impressed with the design of the interior and huge bar decor, displaying many famous Korean national beer bottles, lending an aspiring flair to the comfort food culture of Seoul. We were greeted and waited on by a terrific bilingual waitress who was patient with our indecisive friend. On to the food. Korean fried chicken is considered award winning due to their double frying (lower, then higher temps) which produces an ever crispier texture of the potato starch compared to the American style. The entree shown was the 8-piece curry chicken wings and thighs ($13.99) which had a very elegant glaze of sweet and warm curry over a breaded chicken that is truly succulent

Very nice welcoming people and family friendly place. The chicken was very good especially the spicy garlic drumsticks/crunchy and full of flavor. Reasonable prices. Has halal (chicken) and non halal options.
