Club Pioneer

Woooow. We're foodies. We travel all over constantly. This is some of the best food in the country. Adding pork belly to devil eggs has changed my life. Prime rib. Captains platter. All amazing. Even the green beans were probably the best I've had. Beautiful restaurant too. Great service. Thanks for the great experience.

Service was good. Drinks were decent. My wife and I ordered baked potatoes with our meal and about 15 minutes after ordering they came to us and said there’s no more baked potatoes left so they sent out mashed potatoes with our meals. The mashed potatoes were horrible and the gravy was very salty. Was very upsetting and made our experience bad.

Loud and slow. I ordered the cowgirl pasta and was disappointed. The dish was very oily and the mushrooms and olives came from a can. No wine selections available. Poor service.

Recently a small group of us ate lunch here (not our 1st time). Sadly, there seems to have been a major change in the kitchen, or in management's view of cost vs. value. Examples: A/ one person had the "daily double" which was a small bowl of soup and 1/2 of a small sandwich. This cost at least twice what it should have given its size. B/ two of the group had an open-faced steak sandwich which was nothing more than a small (dry-looking) section of meat placed on a toasted bun, with no embellishments. The other 3 members of our group said their food was acceptable. Pioneer Club, IMO, should reevaluate their pricing and inclusions. We won't be back anytime soon. [P.S. I can not say enough about this place, the service, the food and the music. Danny took really good care of us. You must try the OMG sandwich!
