Cloudy Bay Bakery

We visited this donut shop in Port Angeles, and loved each one we tried. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and had us try one of her favorite donuts, a caramel delite. It was so good! Love the variety, the delicious flavors and fillings. Highly recommend the caramel delite, the blueberry with lemon Bavarian filling, and the pistachio. But all the donuts looked fantastic, it was hard to choose.

When I moved to Port Angeles I made it a point to buy shirts to support the local businesses and assimilate with the culture here. I was surprised when Sasquatch doughnuts closed, and Cloudy Bay took its place. But, surprised in a good way. The doughnuts are the best in town. Possibly the peninsula. Until you get into Poulsbo and Seattle, you're hard-pressed to find good breakfast pastries around here. There's excellent variety, and they have consistent hours as well. I've yet to meet the owner, but I imagine running a bakery keeps you quite busy. It isn't uncommon for me to buy a dozen or half dozen to share with my coworkers. They have coffee, but first and foremost, they are a bakery. They do that well. If you're a coffee snob look elsewhere for your caffeine fix. I like a plain gla

Amazing fresh fluffy doughnuts! I even went back a second day, and same fresh fluffy like before! So soft and omg the lemon fluffy cream was the most delightful taste ever! Best doughnuts I have ever eaten!!! But the workers both days couldn’t be more friendly!

So good! Picked up a few on the way out of town. Stopped by before 7 but there was a great variety. Service was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pistachio, apple fritter, coffee and cream, and a cinnamon pull-apart. Soft, tender raised doughnut and crispy apple fritter with big chunks of apple. I'll definitely return.

These are the best doughnuts I've ever had. Fresh, clean flavors without overpowering sweetness. The whip cream filled are my favorite. Very inexpensive as well
