Cliffside Bed & Breakfast

That was a nice place next to the scituate harbor and downtown. Wonderful view of Atlantic ocean and her house is very decorative. Don't forget to try Christina's signature breakfast: freshly squeezed juice, coffee cake, bacon and egg. The best fresh breakfast I've ever seen so far.

I should preface this by saying that I grew up in the area and was returning for one night to attend a wedding in the neighboring town. When we checked in we got a brief history of the house, which had been a hunting lodge and we were shown to a lovely room with a queen sized bed, but opted for the one across the hall with a double. Christine called a short time later to tell us that she had moved us to a different room with a queen sized bed, en suite bath and a lovely view! The room was comfortable, and with the windows open and the ceiling fan it was comfortable on a Summer night, but there is air conditioning if the salt air is not for you. We woke to rain, not traffic, not blaring horns but peaceful rain at 8:15. We did not hear traffic until sometime after 8:45 and enjoyed lounging a

We recently stayed at the Cliffside for two nights to attend a friend's wedding in town. I cannot recommend the place enough.. The owner, Christine, was gracious, polite, friendly and most accommodating. We just adored the house with it's quaint rooms, interesting spaces and lots of reading opportunities. The breakfasts were delicious and any additional requests we had were tended to immediately. We brought our 18 month daughter with us and she had such a good time in the house - this was mostly due to the pleasant demeaner of the owner. I would highly recommend this house for its location, history, character, friendliness and food. Ten out of ten!

This is a wonderful B&B. So clean and tidy. Great bed linens. Super cozy. Lovely and gracious owner. Delicious breakfast with a beautiful table setting. The house is beautiful and has lots of history, as does the little neighborhood. Beautiful views of the harbor with all the boats. We couldn't have been happier with our choice and will definitely stay here again.

Excellent breakfast. Personable owner. Very clean place. Thought it might be noisy but was very quiet during our stay. Plenty of hot water. Beds comfy. Within walking distance of town in an upscale neighborhood by the ocean. We only stayed one night, but wished we had stayed longer. Place is real cute. Quiet family neighborhood. One of the better b&b we have stayed in. Highly recommend it. We are an older couple and think this place would be much enjoyed by similar folks.
