Clearwater Restaurant

Took my kids there. Was hesitant because it looks uppity and no kids menu was displayed. They do have a kids menu and we are happy we went. We sat by the window on the lower floor and the view is great. Lots of harbor activity and we could watch the seals. I had the pene bolognese and it was excellent. My daughter had the kids fettuccini with chicken and she said it was one of the best she’s had. My son had a burger and loved it. He was full so I had some bites and it really was great. They had also shared the kids started of soft pretzels with cheese and that was also amazing. Our waiter Oscar was also great and convinced us to have the brownie sundae which was delicious. Great place for excellent food and service. Went for our wedding anniversary (49 yrs) and couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Even met Johnny the wonderful chef behind the tasty offerings. Our server Matthew was fantastic - offered recommendations and answered all of our questions with spot on knowledge. The cocktails were great, the Brussels sprouts out of this world. The miso black cod and the jumbo scallops were delicious. Ended the meal with the salted caramel bread pudding with a bourbon cream sauce. Will definitely be back!

Didn’t know what to expect, but wow what an amazing experience! Beautiful view of the bay, and we could even see sea lions from our table. We started with the delicious Brussels sprout appetizer perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For entrées, we had the catch of the day (Chinook salmon with spinach and gnocchi) beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The lasagna bolognese was rich and comforting, and the chicken sandwich with fries hit the spot. The menu truly has something for everyone. We finished with the Marion Berry Cobbler topped with ice cream the perfect ending to a great meal. The view, the service, and the food were all outstanding. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

Stopped here on a whim and the restaurant has an upscale atmosphere. The views are amazing especially for a sunny warm March day at the coast. Our server was very friendly and did a great job recommending our drinks and informing us about the GF menu options. However the food left a bit to be desired. My wife picked the seafood curry which looked fantastic However serving it with rice is highly recommended. Also it should be marked as spicy. I got the coconut shrimp and risotto balls. Both over fried and risotto probably shouldn't be fried, as it lacked flavor. Her food came quickly mine was about 10+ min later (I wondered if they forgot it in the fryer) Shrimp were small & over cooked for the price. We like coming here for our anniversary each year, for the delicious food and the beautiful view!! They have a nice assortment of mocktails, too. Highly recommend the creme brulee Cinnamon Toast Crunch to finish off your meal! A note: come for the flavor, but be advised that the portions are moderate. If you choose an appetizer and a dessert, you're likely to leave full and happy!
