Customer Reviews
We had a very relaxing stay here. Linda was gracious and hospitable. Our bed was very comfortable and afforded us great sleep quality. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit and freshly-baked muffins. Perhaps, it wasn't enough for a young growing men.
We loved staying at Clary Lake B&B. Hosts are very friendly, the historic house is immaculate and full of lovely antiques. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast in the beautiful dining area was scrumptious. |It was wonderful to sit outdoors and enjoy the beautiful view. We will definitely return.
We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely experience. Linda makes great breakfasts and is a caring and lovely host. We plan on going back next year and stay there again. The location is secluded but peaceful. 20 minutes away from Augusta but a few minutes away from the lake.
My family and I have very mixed feelings about our stay at Clary Lake Bed and Breakfast. The owners, Linda and Rick, are very charming. Linda's breakfast is fantastic! Her fresh baked muffins are unbelievable. My daughter enjoyed playing with puzzles and other trinkets around the living room. The bathroom was large and clean. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, our room smelled of urine (presumably cat or dog urine). We brought this to the attention of Linda and Rick on our first day, but the issue was not addressed. This really tainted our experience. There were other minor issues as well. Specifically, the ceiling leaked a little water from the upstairs shower, a cup of old coffee was left next to the coffeemaker in our room, and they only had a small tabletop ironing board for gue
Linda and Rick are charming hosts. We were warmly welcomed into this lovely old home. The first floor bedroom was spacious, as was the separate but adjacent bathroom. Of major importance, I am a wheelchair user. Technically, I use a travel scooter -- I was able to move around inside without any difficulty. I have a suspicion that a power chair would be a tight squeeze, but the owners will take measurements and work with you, and in fact they promised us a complete refund if my scooter did not fit. This was a quiet, peaceful spot. We enjoyed walking around the lovely yard and admiring the flower beds. The breakfast room looked out over the gardens in front of the house. The front porch was not wheelchair accessible, but the view from the breakfast room, looking over the porch, was great.
