Visiting from TX this was a Great place to get real fried clams & lobster Rolls. The clams werent the Sysco brand that so many restaurants carry. They were freshly fried in a homemade batter that had the right crunch when u ate them. The lobster Roll was packed with good sized chunks of lobster, with a touch of lettuce, hint of spice & topped with a white cheese sauce. The drink pain killer was off the charts good!!! I had never heard of them until now. Now my wife is ready to make them at the house!!! The manager was super friendly and actually visited with us instead of taking order turning around & never saying anything. He makes u feel at home & will definitely come back to eat & have a few drinks. Thanks again for the meal & conversation!!!
Fantastic little spot off the main road that’s a little annoying to turn into. Great service. Great fried clams. One of the few spots where I was able to get large whole bellied clams and not the small ones common everywhere else. Lobster roll was decent, not the best flavor wise with the mayo, would’ve been great to have more meat. Can’t beat the price for these two things tho. Highly recommended.
This was a fun place to enjoy seafood which is along a small highway (?) and across a body of water. It’s like an elevated fish shack with plenty of outdoor seating. We ordered fish and chips, for which the fried fish was a generous portion and the chips was actually the best I’ve had in some time (I know, just french fries but still…really good), and also the Jalisco steamers. These steamers are a twist on steamers with a more spicy birth, and guess heat? The brisket works! An enjoyable meal through and through.
Amazing lobster roll! Definitely a gourmet lobster roll, the toppings really added so much flavor, and the bun was warm and buttery. Homemade chips on the side were great too. While lobster rolls are expensive these days, this price was one of the more reasonable I’ve seen around Portland.
Stopped in after driving by on our way out of Portland. Loved the set up, but not the food. The clams were overdone and very chewy. The lobster roll was warm buttered, with an Asian flair. I'd rather have just a plain cold. The Cole slaw was very good, but was just dropped on top of the hot fries. It should be served separately as it was very difficult to eat. Nice spot, but food was very disappointing.
