CJ’s Tacos - North Lamar

Great little taco truck in the parking lot just north of Michi Ramen. I enjoyed their brisket and chorizo tacos. Both were on stout floor tortillas and had a cabbage slaw whose crunchy creamyness nicely contrasted with the meat. You can eat on site at the patio in front of Michi Ramen. Street parking is available nearby or in front of the truck if you stay in your car. A fun little meal when vintage shopping nearby!

CJ’s Taco Truck serves Tex-Mex styled tacos with honest work. The tacos are filled and full of flavor. You can sit at the outdoor patio or grab your order for to go. I ordered the Suadero, Bistec, Campechano, and Al Pastor Tacos. Friendly service and stuffed tacos.

First time here, and I loved it! It’s a cute food truck with shaded seating—perfect for relaxing while you eat. I ordered the bistek tacos, and they were awesome—packed with flavor, huge, and loaded with protein. The service was great too! Definitely a spot I’d recommend.

Absolutely insane value for your money. $8 Birria Ramen was a 16 ounce bowl half the size of my head. The shop owner even brought out the food to my car! Highly recommended.

hidden gem for sure, haven’t even finished my tacos i’m writing this rn…but this place needs to heard about its damn good! i love it this is definitely a new spot for me and it’s hitting. they have a great selection and range of tacos. i got 2 pastor, a shrimp, and a chicken taco and omg from the meat to the ingredients and sauces!!! of course the owner Jose, is such a respectful and humble king, definitely worth the visit for sure!!! check out CJs Tacos on North Lamar!
