Really good barbecue, I liked all the selections of meats that they had and their brisket was very good. Even had turkey, 🦃. A variety of dipping sauces in the even had a cool condiment section with pickles that were delicious and pickled jalapenos.
I’ve ordered from this restaurant many times, and felt overall that the prices were slightly high, but fair. Until tonight, when I ordered delivery and the 2 meat and 2 sides combo, and it was incredibly disappointing. I was upset to open my order and see two sad and dried out slices of brisket and a single sausage. My baked potato was hard and cold - wrapped in foil, it should have been perfectly fine. This combo was not worth $25.
The brisket was great. Mac n cheese was good. Chicken was good. Cornbread was like digging bread out of a shell.. not so good. Took three tries to get the fries we ordered. Some of the staff did my seem to have it together. Have had better experiences in the past.
I want to give these guys five stars, they offer a military discount which is greatly appreciated. The food and service is very good. The menu was clear and easy to read. They were very fast, and they're different barbecue sauces had really nice flavor. The meat I received was very tender and juicy. Overall a wonderful and delicious place to be. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, you could smell the barbecue from outside which is always a plus. And overall their sauce selection was nice. It had everything from sauces with molasses, and vinegar, and spice not bad bbq.
I had their self proclaimed special biscuit sandwich combo and my wife had the two meat platter with pork and brisket. Both our brisket servings were extremely fatty. I lot more than normal for brisket. The pork was very dry. The service was very slow with only 3-4 other groups in the restaurant. Finally the restaurant looked like it was worn out - like it had been operation for years without any kind of update. I have been to other walk up barbeque restaurants over the years in various parts of the country, this was by far the worst. I uploaded a picture of the fat from my sandwich.
