The fish and shrimp were amazing. I enjoyed my lunch here.

It was a very crowded Friday night around 7:30 pm. Standing room only. We waited only about 20 minutes for a table. While waiting we had some beer at the bar. Ice cold glasses and plenty of salt. The staff was very nice and kept us updated on a table being available. We were seated quickly when it was available. Order was taken and food out fresh and hot in about 15 minutes. It was all so good! I had steak fingers and my boyfriend had the fried pork chops. He got 2 huge fried pork chops with his meal.

When you see this place from the outside, you'll likely think keep on driving. Seriously. You're here to eat not criticize the building. The chicken fried steak is really tender and tasty. Comes with your choice of two sides. Note: the sides are not on the menu but posted on the back wall in very small print. The server had to tell me the sides. Fried okra costs a bit more but was worth it. The portion is on the smaller side but that just means you'll have room for an appetizer. Service was excellent.

Omg!!! When I say AMAZING I mean it. This place set back and off the beaten path but it is worth the trip.. the food came out quick and hot and the flavor and quality is top notch.. the chicken fried steak could be cut with a fork it was so tender.. The cabbage!!!!!! Lord have mercy it was so goood. This place really feels like a warm hug from grandma!

I would prefer to say that this place is not good so it doesn’t get ruined by invading hordes of Samsungians but I can’t. Might be the best burger I have had East of I-35 and the onion rings were perfectly battered. No nonsense, comfortable , local country “bar” vibe that I passed daily without knowing how great it is. Looking forward to some steak, both grilled and country fried!
