Cinnaholic

My husband and I decided to grab a cinnamon roll. I have egg and dairy allergies so Cinnaholic is a great option for a treat. The lady that helped us was very helpful. They were making fresh rolls so she informed us it would be about 5-6 minutes before they would be ready. We ordered and when they were ready she brought them to us fresh and hot. They were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend giving them a try.

I ordered the mini buns for a super bowl party at the Concord location and when I got them to the destination and opened them it was a complete mess. It looked like the box had been dropped and stepped on. Even if the box had been dropped or tipped over, you could tell the buns were prepared VERY sloppy. The icing is haphazard and sloppily placed. Some of the buns were like squeezed and misshaped. As other reviews have stated, I’ve ordered regular sized cinnamon buns more than once and it’s drowning in icing and just all around sloppy. I thought the mini buns would be better but I’m pretty much done with this location. If this much lack of care is put into presentation I shudder to think what the sanitation and food safety is like. I don’t live in the area so I don’t come often, but I always make it a point to come here when I am. Always delicious and the service is good.

I thought id give my family a sweet treat yesterday we live in the area and always drive by it. The ladies inside did not provide bad customer service. HOWEVER once I got home all 4 cinnamon rolls I ordered were drowning in icing to the point it was absolutely disgusting for the price the cinnamon rolls are not freshly made. It was so much icing and it left a nasty aftertaste. I will absolutely not be or recommending this place. You better off going to cinnabon right around the corner at the mall.

I hate to write this because I’ve heard business has been struggling, but my experience at Cinnaholic was disappointing. I regularly eat vegan desserts due to a dairy sensitivity, yet the cinnamon roll was overwhelmingly sweet even for me. I will note the cookie dough was fine, however. The shop itself was disgusting, with trash all over the floor, and there were no napkins in the containers. The only employee I saw was talking on the phone the entire time I was ordering and while she was making the food, which made the service feel unfocused and unprofessional. There’s clearly a reason things are not going well.
