Cute little country kitchen. Super low prices, good food. A little confusing when you walk in as there is no signage but you order at the counter and seat yourself. They’ll bring your food and your check and then you pay at the counter when you are finished. The neighborhood looked a little rough and the traffic was crazy. They said traffic is always crazy on the weekends in the summer.

If you are looking for real "Southern" cooking, this is the place to go. We stopped by on our way back from North Myrtle Beach. We had the Sunday buffet. While the buffet has a relatively small selection, everything we had was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken reminded me of the fried chicken my Mother made when I was a child. Extra crispy and cooked perfectly. My wife had a serving of the chicken and dumplings. I knew they were good when with her first bite she went, mmmm. She said they were some of the best she's ever had. I told Mr. Donald, when I checked out, the chicken reminded me of my Mom's, and he said he heard that often. There was a huge selection of desserts, all handmade from scratch. If you get a chance, I highly recommend you stop by and enjoy some authentic

This place is absolutely incredible. It is a little hole in the wall that packs a punch. The inside of this restaurant is too cool, it used to be a old movie theater. The food is delicious and very affordable. The staff was the nicest people you could ask for, and the owner is a sweet lady!

I don't know about other people, but when I order a sandwich, I expect to be able to eat it without having to remove bones and stuff first! I ordered the pork chop sandwich and it was a full pork chop, bones, fat and all between two slices of bread. Seriously!? My son got a cheeseburger. He said it was really bad and he couldn't even eat it. The onion rings were good, but they were super greasy. The fries were just ok. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich. He said it was pretty good. The service was good. The staff was friendly. No complaints about them. The prices were also excellent. You generally can't eat that cheap anywhere anymore. But I would not go back.

Donald and Cindy do a great job with good daily specials and classic dinner fare! Cindy’s Kountry Kitchen is a great “Back from the Brink” story. This building was nearly destroyed in a hurricane and the former owners couldn’t repair, and our town lost a staple restaurant. Now it’s a booming business with charm and life again!
