Our first time dining here and stopped in for lunch on Sunday. The menu is quite large and a ton of options to choose from. Unlike most restaurants, Cinco de Mayo offers their lunch specials on the weekends too. I picked the street taco special. It came with 3 tacos, rice and beans and choice of meats for only $8.99. Barbacoa, carnitas and beef fajita were very tasty. Topped with fresh and grilled onions, cilantro and some incredible green sauce. Chips were fresh and crispy. Salsa was flavorful with just a touch of heat. Service was great and they took great care of us. Was surprised the place wasn't very busy.

Decided to invite a friend from out of town, to try the delicious food. Food and drinks did not disappoint. However, the loud music and a loud group of people made it hard for us to enjoy eachothers conversation. We had to raise our voice way loud in order to hear eachother, and it was very uncomfortable and annoying. The group of people were way too drunk loud and obnoxious. Friends and family had complained about the loud group of people in the past and now I know what they meant. It was really an uncomfortable atmosphere.

We went there while passing by Athens on a Saturday night. There was security upfront and inside. Live music, fun but very loud. They were very busy. Food was good, it did take some time to be served. Portions are well served, I would have asked for more tortillas but I figured would take a while. Service was ok. There is only two individual restrooms by the bar, where the kitchen also is. I waited in line with many others. It probably took over 15 minutes for me to be able to use the restroom. I think this was the worst part. There are some funny slogans written on the walls.

Stopped by here while passing through on a family outing. The place was nice, the staff was friendly and the food was good. We had street corn, enchiladas Mexicans and blanco enchiladas. We also had a frozen margarita and one on the rocks. They had many other options that lean towards more traditional Mexican dishes and less Tex mex. It’s worth a stop if you are passing through Athens. The slightly different variety of food combined with the staff friendliness was a big plus for us.

To go Order was 6 hard tacos, 2 burrito Supremes, hold the onions, and a side of guacamole grand total $60. - as you can see by The pictures, We couldn’t even pick up the tacos without the bottoms, busting out they were soggy and stale. We ended up getting a half a cup of meat altogether not even enough to make a good taco salad out of it. The burrito Supremes were nothing but beans and cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla and it sucked For $10 each you get a scoop of beans folded in a flour tortilla. Completely overpriced for the quality of food that we received. The ground beef inside the tacos were seasoned well, and I ate them with the chips that guacamole came with. The guacamole itself Was not completely mixed and half the avocado was still in a full form in the bottom of the b
