Chupacabra Taqueria & Cantina

When reviewing their menu, we saw Birria Tacos and were immediately committed. Upon arrival we were a little alarmed that there was nobody in the restaurant! There are 2 other attached venues by same owners which had customers. But the lack of patrons was a bit of a red flag. Our service started out with our server, Austin, telling us the drinks we wanted from the on-line menu were no longer available. But they tried to make a smoked cocktail for us first and realized they were out of smoker chips. Our large party of 8 mostly ordered Margaritas, which were decent and discounted on Tuesdays. Chupacabra is an amazing Mexican restaurant right off the beach. They have an amazing property with lots of parking and great outdoor space with a bar, seating, and games. The service is attentive, and the food was amazing! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Members of our group were returning for the 6th time. Nick was very accommodating to our diet. We have members of the group who were vegetarian and vegan. They provided us with vegan tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. And I cannot emphasize enough how fresh and tasty the food is here - that made all the difference. We had a great time and will be returning again soon.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. The food was great and not a fortuen. Drinks and service were good. I gave it a 4 bc I hate drinking from plastic cups, but think I have to bc of the rocks, and the train that came by was loud, but only for a few seconds. There was a guy singing country music. He was amazing. It just was a nice breathe of fresh air kinda place

Came in for taco Tuesday date night with my husband and our newborn. Food is fantastic and delicious absolutely loved the birria it's different than the norm deep flavor loved it. The chef checked on how we liked our dinner and offered to hold our baby while I ate very sweet staff absolutely had a wonderful time accompanied by great music from a rocking guy playing guitar All around fabulous evening we will be back thank you for a great taco Tuesday

We had absolutely amazing service, food, and experience for our party of 8. Austin was an incredible server and bartender and the whole team took phenomenal care to make our dinner so fantastic. $5 margaritas were delicious, Birria was perfect, empanadas blew us away, and service again was a 20/10.
