I just ordered a margherita pizza and an eggplant/burrata sandwich. Both were unbelievably delicious.The sandwich is huge and the sandwich bread was perfect. I was googling Italian sandwiches near me, found the link and watched a review from Meg’s Things. Sold. My order was to go but the place is spotless with very friendly staff. We will be back very soon. Byob.

I recently dined at Just The Crust on Norwood Avenue in Long Branch, and it was an absolute delight! Every bite showcased the quality and care that goes into their food. The salad we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced—a great way to start the meal. As for the pizzas, they were nothing short of perfection. The classic cheese pizza hit all the right notes with its crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese. The highlight for me, though, was the "Johnny P" pizza, where all the ingredients worked together seamlessly. We also tried “The Chip” sandwich, and it was hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had! The bread was perfectly soft and crunchy, creating an unforgettable texture and taste experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

While not the most convenient location, the food was worth the effort. I love good pizza and this is good pizza. Quality ingredients, well-prepared. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her salad and she loves a good salad. We were there for a weekday lunch, and strangely had the place to ourselves.

I held off on reviewing Just The Crust after our first visit, thinking it might have been a fluke. I was wrong! Our second meal was even better. This place is a gem and wonderful addition to the neighborhood. There's a charming, intimate vibe. The service is personal, and the quality of the ingredients is undeniable. We enjoyed delicious salads and pizzas both times, and watching the chefs work their magic in the open kitchen, including that wood-fired oven, is a real treat. Just The Crust is a must-visit! We can't wait to go back.
