Chubby Cat Sushi

Found this little gem off Atlantic Ave. Food was spectacular and atmosphere was great. Very cool spot with nice outdoor seating. The food was so delicious. Food was fresh and flavorful. Recommend the Tri- scallop roll and Madai crudo and dumpling sampler. They definitely put a lot of care into ingredients and the culinary experience. Mixed it up and loved evrything we ordered. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Must try new in Delray!! Well done Chubby cat!!

The food here is amazing, with every dish packed with vibrant, fresh flavors that leave you craving more. The cute little tables, decorated with table lights create such a cozy and charming vibe and you can read your menu and see the food. The waiter was the absolute best! Super friendly and spot-on with recommendations! I recommend!

Chubby Cat combines my favorite things: high quality sushi, creative izakaya dishes, solid drinks, and cat theming. Most importantly, the food is delicious. The sushi dishes have excellent ingredients like fresh fish, perfectly crispy nori, and bright touches. Tried the chirashi and two hand rolls (spicy blue fin, salmon lemon zest) and each was beautifully balanced. The hand rolls were larger than I thought they’d be, and they were excellent bites. The chirashi was such a good dish. Sushi rice topped with different pieces of fish plus nice wasabi, a little bit of lemon, and chili crisp dollops. Chubby Cat was an absolute standout! The food was incredible — every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with a lot of care. I was genuinely impressed with how well everything was prepared. The service was just as amazing from Andrew. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, Chubby Cat exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

We had like a third of the menu and every single item was 10/10. We were extremely impressed. Our favorites were the cowgirl roll, the mentaiko pasta, and the wagyu curry dumplings. Highly recommend. Edit: We came back for happy hour and this is one of the BEST value happy hours in Delray.
