Chowder Bowl

Friendly service, delicious food. I had the garlic white bread w/ slumgolian chowder and a side order of the fries which were thinly sliced potatoes that were crispy. I was quite satisfied with the results. The bread was kinda like french toast in regards to thickness, but incredibly fluffy and soft that pulled apart nicely. Finished with a slice of the chocolate cake which I would forgo next time, it wasn't bad, but it seemed like store bought cake. Very dense with loads of frosting. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. Atompshere... Tables are a bit close together, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for a restaurant cafe. Now, the kid yelling "is that a butt crack..." Was funny the first time. Third time, was bad parenting. Don't bring your youngins to a restaurant if yo

We eat here so often. Pretty much every time we go to Newport we come here. The clam chowder is the best! The service is amazing! Everything I have ever ordered there is simply perfectly delicious. Best of all they so graciously welcome our Golden Retrievers so warmly. They bring buckets of fresh cold water and after running on the beach our pups are so thirsty. Did I mention we have 5 Goldens. It’s great to have such an amazing restaurant to go to that always welcomes our large pack with a smile. Tonight we stopped in and the owner said we win the cutest dog award and comped our meal. Just when I thought this place couldn’t get any better they managed to find a way. Thank you so much Chowder Bowl.

This was one of our favorite food stops on the coast. The theme and atmosphere are really great. The staff was so nice and accommodating of our family, always smiling at our one year old, with a high chair and a kid water cup. We got the chowder, fish and chips, and Marionberry crisp. All were perfect! The fish and chips were much better than many other places we tried. Definitely stop by here for yummy food and good vibes.

The clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had on the Oregon coast. It tasted incredibly delicious and fresh you could even taste a little bit of sand, which made it feel authentic. I totally recommend coming here to try it. 10/10.

Excellent location, next to the famous Nye beach. Had a delicious hot lunch late in the afternoon. Stayed long enough to see the sunset. Clam chowder, fish tacos and baked salmon were delicious.
