I wanted to love this place, especially on a Friday night and I was really happy to hear that the prices were not through the roof. But I was a little disappointed and now fully understand why they were not through the roof. The meat that was given to us was orange chicken and almost all of the pieces were too gummy to chew, it looked like dark meat, (barely any at that) Heavily coated in breading, that was already hard and cold, as well as old- as if it was prepared hours before, it was clear that the food was sitting there for a very long time, which was to my surprise because I thought it was made to order. It’s a hole in the wall. Place needs updating desperately, but the food was good. Not amazing, but 4 stars. No complaints. The service was ok. Not super friendly but not terrible. One star for the atmosphere, but 4 stars for the rest. We are visiting from out of town. My daughter wanted Chinese. She ordered the spicy chicken soup. Perfect for a cold day. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli combo platter. It comes with an egg roll. We also ordered the pork dumplings. We ate there. We had a lot of leftovers to take home. Parking was easy. There’s spots right in front of the restaurant.

I’m beyond disgusted. This is the second time I’ve found hair in my food from this place, and that’s absolutely unacceptable. The first time I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt—but twice? That tells me there’s no attention to cleanliness or proper food handling. To make things worse, the chicken was way too chewy and overcooked. Even without the hair, the meal wasn’t enjoyable. But finding hair in my food for a second time just sealed it for me. I will never be ordering from here again. If you care about hygiene and quality, do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Recently we stopped at China Wok on the way home to pick up something for dinner. It seemed to be new Owner or Management. It was a Takeout order, I found the food to taste very fresh, the Vegetables and rice were delicious. The chicken was tender as well. The service was fast and friendly. I'm guessing that the majority of their business is takeout, that's why I rate the atmosphere 4 star, there's always room for improvement, for a takeout place it was acceptable, at least it was clean. I would definitely eat there again.
