China Star

I've been ordering from China Star since I moved to Highland Park in 2007. Over time it's changed owners and the menu has changed a little. What hasn't changed is that food is delicious! I got an orange chicken combo with pork fried rice and it was SO GOOD! I had asked for extra spicy orange sauce and it was great! The orange sauce is really well balanced and not overly sweet. The pork fried rice was also really good and not greasy. The portion was very generous and I saved half for lunch the next day.

Do not order from this place. The food is awful, and the staff is incredibly rude. If you’re looking for spoiled food and terrible customer service, you’ll find it here. This business does not deserve support from paying customers. How are you so rude to customers willing to support you. This is horrible and I can’t wait for them to be shutdown.

Moved down here a year ago and couldn’t find any good chinese takeout. This place has saved me, really good food and customer. My new official chinese spot

Been ordering from here for many many years since I was young. And I have tried many other places but nothing can bet china star. The pricing is fair and the potions are great. Highly recommend coming here. Their chicken broccoli with white rice is the best
