China One Buffet

I ate hear today and the food was good but when it came time to pay the older lady who works there stood over me when i repeatedly said “I’m not ready to pay yet we’re still eating” she stood over me telling me to pay so as i scrambled around to find my card she still stood over me and my group. Once I finally paid got my receipt to leave a tip she came over and grabbed it and wasn't satisfied with what I tipped her and rudely through the receipt on the table and didn’t clear our plates and rudely walked away and the rest of the time our drinks didn’t get filled and our plates didn’t get cleared. Foods good but they need to work on the customer service and be less pushy to paying customers.

I’ve been going here for YEARS with my parents and once I turned 18 I started coming on my own. For the past year I’ve noticed the same older lady with the bangs always bring us our check way ahead of time not even considering if we are talking or mid bite of our first plate she will set the check down then stand above us and stare at us until we hand over our cards. I’ve told her multiple times I have food on my hands, I’m mid bite, we aren’t done eating and she still continues to stand above our table and make us pull out our cards. And this hasn’t happened just once it happens EVERYTIME. i come in very often and never once have not paid my bill so I’m confused as to why she feel the need to stand above my food until I grab my card. This is just an average Chinese buffet. The restaurant was warm and very humid. I was told that the tea was free, but it ended up costing money. For $15, the food was just average. There was a decent variety, but most of the food didn't taste really fresh (especially the sushi). Plus, there were no crab legs. Getting there earlier than 7:30pm may have made a difference. It's best to go to these places when they're really busy so that the food isn't sitting around for a long time.

Myself and my bff went here to eat for the first time on 30 Nov 2023 for lunch. Really enjoyed the variety of food available. I haven't eaten a Chinese buffet in a very long time. Just moved from NC and didn't waste my time to bother searching out one of my favorite foods. I was really surprise for so many negative reviews. Either I was hungry, or the food was just great that day. The atmosphere was nice. Staff was friendly. Real pleasant place to stop in to eat in such a small town. Price was affordable. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with this place, but it's usually "ok" depending on what time of day you go. They have basic sushi and basic lo mein. The shrimp in white coconut sauce is absolutely delicious if it's fresh.
