Gypsy Nickel Lounge

We stopped in for lunch and drinks last week. We ordered the vegan buffalo chik’n sandwich and some appetizers. We were satisfied!! Very good service, the menu contained more than 1 plant-based option, and it was reasonably priced!

Stopped in at Gypsy Nickel in Big Rapids for lunch and had a great experience. Hunter was our bartender and also our server, he was super friendly and attentive throughout. We tried the spicy chicken sandwich, Philly wrap, and a couple of burgers, all of which were fresh and tasty. Drinks (Diet Coke and iced tea) were drinks to accompany. Relaxed atmosphere, good food, and service, definitely a solid lunch spot in town!

One word. Fantastic. Food was great and prices were awesome. Beer was priced perfect. Burgers were really delicious and I dont know when I got burger and large alsalad for 13.99. The patty melt was super good and the server was nice and attentive. When I got the bill I asked myself that's it. So we tipped 50 percent. What a great find.

This tavern is a gem! I was in town on business and looking for a place to have a beer and a snack—Gypsy Nickel checked all the boxes. I was greeted promptly upon entering, grabbed a seat at the bar, and had a cold beer in front of me within minutes. The chips and salsa were fresh and very tasty. All around, just a great place to relax and enjoy.
