New to the area. New favorite Chinese place. Sweet and sour shrimp combo is my absolute favorite. And most restaurants around here I've noticed don't sell it as a combo. I was excited to see they had it. Not only that, but they don't use jumbo shrimp. So instead of 6 big shrimp I got plenty of little shrimpy's which is a better batter to shrimp ratio. We will be back.

I moved to the Lexington/Gilbert area of SC over a year ago from NY. You may not know this, but NY is the home of the absolute best pizza and Chinese food ANYWHERE. That said, since I have been on my new hometown, here in SC, I have been in search of both. I’ll leave the pizza discussion for my review of the best pizza place and I’ll focus here on the BEST CHINESE FOOD in the Lexington/Gilbert/Leesville-Batesburg areas. That place, THE BEST CHINESE FOOD is China 1 at 245 W. Columbia Ave. The food is made fresh as you wait, the food is nuclear hot temperature, so it’s hot when you get home with your take-out. The meats like the pork in the fried rice is perfectly flavored and perfectly trimmed. No fat in mine whatsoever. This is my new go to place for Chinese food and it’s a 15-20 minute

This is a great little Chinese place that has a bunch of wings and good Chinese food, it's my go-to Chinese place. Update: 9-7-2022 Still the best around and the people are so nice. My new favorites are Szechuan Chicken and Singapore Mei Fun, the chicken wings are always good too.😁👌

This place has very tasty Chinese food! Their lo mein, orange chicken, and general Taos are delicious. Their hot chicken wings are also very good and reasonably priced. I did have to wait a long time though for my wings even though I called it in over 20 minutes before arriving.
