Shealy's Bar-B-Que

I’ve been in here before and apparently forgot to leave a review. Stopped in on a Tuesday and wasn’t nearly half as packed as a Saturday but there was still a good crowd in here. Plenty of parking..as they have the main building and then the plant next door..so you can park anywhere. Food..it is a buffet, and there’s plenty of options for fixin’s. The Honey bbq pulled pork is the best one they’ve got for the pulled pork. Chicken was perfectly fried. The shepherds pie…was delicious but a tad bit runny as opposed to the Mac and cheese which was clumpy and dry. Once you sit down, they come to you and get your drink order and then they’ll bring you the drink..you don’t have to fix that. My husband and I stopped by for an early dinner on 1/17 as first-time guests. There was a large selection of meats, sides, desserts and cold bar fixings. My top faves were the milk gravy with rice, collard greens like my dad makes, crispy fried chicken and tangy vinegar-based bbq. The sweet tea was definitely some good southern tea made just right. The waitress and busboy were working hard. I wish I had brought a bigger appetite with me. I tried a spoonful of each item but was still stuffed. We will be back on our next trip down to the Lexington area from the Upstate.

I’ve lived in South Carolina for 6 years and can’t believe I just recently visited Shealy’s! We were staying on this side of the lake for a fishing trip and decided to try it since it was only about 10 minutes away—boy, we were not disappointed. The all-you-can-eat buffet was delicious, the servers were so friendly, and they kept our glasses full of lemonade and sweet tea. It’s almost impossible these days to feed a family of 4 for under $45, but we had a great dinner here for about $40. The food, the value, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. We loved it so much that we came back both nights of our trip! Highly recommend Shealy’s if you’re anywhere nearby—you won’t regret it!

I love their breakfast but I will not be returning for dinner. Green beans has no taste, Mac n cheese taste how it looks(mushy and no flavor), and the chicken legs look like turkey legs(they’re HUGE). They USED to have the best chicken idk what happen but something has definitely changed and it’s not good

Food was very good, great variety. Service was excellent. Order coming from text rooms was not cool.
