China Garden Buffet

Great food at a great price. Large selection. Food was hot and dishes were filled frequently. Great value and service. Top notch buffet.

My family and I had an extremely disappointing experience at China Garden Buffet last night. We were a party of seven — five adults and two children — visiting for the weekend and decided to dine here for dinner. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, the service was unwelcoming. The gentleman at the front did not greet us and appeared unwilling to assist. We stood waiting to be acknowledged, and when we finally placed our drink orders, they were written down incorrectly despite our patience and respectful demeanor. After we were seated, the experience continued to decline. Dirty plates were not cleared in a timely manner, and I found myself organizing and stacking dishes just to keep the table manageable. Alin Is the host. He is the single rudest person I have ever encountered in a restaurant. You will get no greeting. You will not get a smile. You will not get eye contact. The servers are very quick and you will not wait for anything. They are very nice however you will notice that they have smiles for each other and Alin will smile and tell stories to them but to the guests it is a different story. The food is always fine. I have been to this establishment probably 10 different times. I have never had a problem with the food. it does make me wonder who owns this restaurant and how can they treat their customers this way and in doing so treat their employees like this? can you imagine the increase in business if they were nice? can you imagine how much more in tips they would make if they

Something has changed. The food before was delicious; now it's bland and has way too much fried stuff that has dry chewy breading. I taste zero Chinese flavor. Additionally, if you take it to go, you pay by weight. Not worth it.

The usual buffet fair. They do have dumplings and some sushi. Service was mostly a token effort as you primarily serve yourself. Food was average to good but they did have a very wide array to choose from.
