Customer Reviews
Lived near NYC and Boston so I have experience the best and sometimes worst in Chinese food. I can only base this review on a lunch combo so not complete. That being said the wonton soup was excellent with large pieces of fresh veggies and pork strips and tender wontons. Most wonton soups barely have anything in it. The broth was ok a bit different than I am use to for this kind of soup but ok. Very healthy and wholesome soup. MooGoo Gain Pan good fried rice fair. Will try some dinner items next time.
I want to start with the positive side. The positive side is the pu pu platter consists of teriyaki steak, teriyaki chicken, chicken fingers, crab rangoon and chicken wings. They are very tasty and delicious. On the negative side..Don’t buy their side dishes such as chicken with mixed vegetables, or general gua chicken l. In my opinion I purchased these side dishes and did not care for the taste and ingredients. This doesn’t mean that someone else may feel differently. For this reason based on my experience I would only buy the pupu platter and not spend extra for side dishes beyond fried rice.
Great Chinese food, almost like they actually prep it in house!?! If you are on the fence let these push you over, you won't regret it!!
In 45 years, I have never been so disappointed in Chinese food quality. The Kung Pao chicken was mostly celery as a cheap filler (see photo). The chicken was rubbery and the sauce was sweet, not a hint of soy, which is typically what a Kung Pao recipe is based on. I threw away what I didn’t eat. The pork fried rice was also lacking in body and flavor. Let’s just hope someone was having a bad day. Only open for takeout
Passing through New London and took a chance. It was very good! Definitely would stop by again. It’s a real restaurant not tacky. Service prompt and good sized servings. Pics: sesame chicken and doorway.
