Start with the soup. It was super temperature HOT👍. I was craving for oysters and they got plenty today 👍. So much to eat, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. No carbohydrate just protein.

At 4pm there was a lot of fresh food, including a big pile of crab that included lots of claws YUM! (Nothing was left old or soggy that I saw.) Dirty plates were quickly cleared. I was pleasantly surprised for a Monday night! Nice place to relax and enjoy good food and conversation - can't beat the price either.

China City Buffet holds a lot of nostalgia for me. Growing up, my parents used to bring me here often. Back then, I was a picky eater and would only eat a couple of items mainly the sweet and sour chicken with rice and I loved their sugary fried rolls. Those were always a highlight. This year, I decided to bring my children so they could experience it for themselves. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the memories. The service felt bland and unwelcoming, and the food overall was mediocre. What stood out most was how uncomfortable the staff made my children feel for simply trying new foods. They were scolded for placing items on their plates that they weren’t sure they would like, and we were warned that we could be charged for “wasted food.” While I understand policies, it w

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the east valley. On the weekends they have the best crab. All of the fried foods are crispy and delicious. I was surprised how good everything was. Even better than Lin's Grand Buffet! Great service too. Every server went out of their way to make it a good experience for everyone.

Food was okay, however when it came time to pay. The workers made us feel incredibly uncomfortable when it came to leaving a tip. They made it seem like a demand. I work in the food industry so tips are always appreciated but not obligated nor would I make a customer uncomfortable and coerce them into leaving one. This was an incredibly difficult situation and for that, i’m hesitant in returning to this establishment.
