Chilaqueria Los Girasoles

Absolutely loved this place! The café de olla was incredible rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The tacos and chilaquiles were outstanding, full of authentic flavor and clearly made with care. Everything we tried was delicious, and the experience felt truly comforting and homemade. We can’t wait to come back!

This place came highly recommended by a friend so we had to check it out. We came for breakfast and we were not disappointed. My husband and I both got chilaquiles and the portion was huge and the price was fair. The sauce and ingredients were fresh and tasted delicious. Our server was so friendly and answered our questions and had great recommendations. She said the chilaquiles can be made to our spicy preference, so next time, we’re going to ask for them to be spicier. Fair to say, these are the best chilaquiles we’ve had and we can’t wait to return!

Chilaquiles were delicious. Spicyness was perfect. Homestyle cooking. Chicken enchiladas had a little too much onions. Overall delicious 😋 👍🏽

Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a great place for a casual breakfast or brunch. If you’re in Pleasantville and looking for authentic, comforting Mexican food done right, this place is a must-visit. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
