Chicotes Mexican Grill

I don't know who set the hours for this place but they are not open I checked on Monday around the time that it says and the place is closed no cars in the parking lot thanks for wasting my time... With not the right time going to go find somewhere else to eat when I come down to Decatur starting to lose my hope in this place friends have said that they changed it and the food is no longer good I figure I give it one more shot before I leave Decatur ...

Its been a long time since being here. Very good. Thank you. Update: today was girls day and had lunch here. Ally was our waitress and she was awesome. Great place to enjoy the great atmosphere.

The food is very good true mexican entrees. The chicken tortilla soup is a meal in itself. There us so much chicken breast meat in the soup. Chocked full of flavor. After eating the pork nachos I found the regular nachos just okay. The pork nachos come wuth pork, cheese, onions and jalapenos. The pork is so tender and juicy. Mexican street tacos were good. The bar service could be a little bit better.

Ive had street tacos all over the state and states. These steak tacos and rice and salsa was best ive ever had. Perfect blend of flavors and juicy steak instead of dried out like other places. They definitely know what there doing with there family secrets. Service was so friendly great people and food. Highly recommend.

Great food and service! It's a little loud if that's not your jam.
