Chico’s Mexican Grill and Cantina

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The food here is alittle different from what I am used to but still good. The rice had a bit of sweetness for me which I was surprised by but it still had flavor and complimented the other items on the dish. Their complimentary salsa was not spicy but had a good fresh taste. Their queso was good too and I Def recommend trying this place out.

We stopped in to have lunch with family, and they had the rich white queso on the menu. Of course, we got some for the table, and everyone enjoyed it. Mrs. Flip Out had the Pollo Real and Littlest Flip Out wanted all of the shrimp. They enjoyed it. Little Flip Out had a taco and enjoyed it, too. I had the Molcajete, and it was good. Our family also had chicken nachos and they said they were good as well.

The white Queso cheese dip is worth driving to Piedmont to eat here. Anybody from the east coast will recognize it as what you expect from all the Mexican places there. We got a chimichanga, shrimp quesadilla, and a la carte tacos for dinner. The menu made it sound like the quesadilla had tomatoes on it, but after ordering it with no tomatoes we realized it was probably the guacamole salad that would have had tomatoes on it. The table slid around very easily which was not great for the little kiddos. The salsa was fresh and a bit spicy, which I love but the kids didn’t. It was very bright and some m of the fluorescent lights were missing covers which kinda kinda took away from the atmosphere. Dimming the lights would be nice. Overall great experience for the price.

My boyfriend and I love Chicos, the Stillwater and Piedmont location. We try to eat here about once a week. They have the best sloppy beers and our food always comes super fast. Service is immaculate

Our group enjoyed our time at Chico’s. The food was great, service was good. There did seem to be misunderstanding when ordering drinks based off the menu description and what was provided.
