⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Cozy Hidden Gem With Incredible Flavor My friend and I came in right before closing, and the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth. Even at the end of the night, the service was attentive and never rushed, which made the experience feel extra special. The food was outstanding — vibrant, well-balanced flavors and beautifully prepared dishes. The ramen had a rich, comforting broth; the sushi roll was layered with fresh textures and a perfect crunch; and the stir-fried entrée had that deep, glossy wok-kissed flavor that you can’t fake. The ambience is quietly stunning: soft lighting, modern décor, and a calm, intimate vibe that makes you want to linger. Chico & Chang is truly a neighborhood gem — delicious food, great hospitality, and an atmosphere that feels like a peaceful
Chico and Chang is a gem! Everything about our visit was great from the food to the service to the cozy ambience. My daughter ordered the avocado and cucumber roll, and it was super fresh and delicious. I was a bit cold when we arrived, and the manager kindly adjusted the temperature to make sure I was comfortable—such thoughtful service! We also had the original ramen, which had rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The pork egg rolls were crispy and satisfying, and the mango tea with boba was sweet and refreshing. Our final dish was the Hunan scallops. It was full of bold flavor and packed with vegetables. Be warned: it’s got a serious kick if you’re not into spice, but we loved it. We’ll definitely be coming back!
We discovered this sushi spot in our neighborhood and honestly… what a gem. The service is truly amazing and the food is beyond unbelievable every bite feels so thoughtfully made and full of flavor. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly kind and welcoming; it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this genuinely good in a restaurant. My boyfriend and I have already been here three times this month, and the fact that they already remember our order says everything about the care they put into their guests. This place is special. If you haven’t tried it yet, you absolutely need to it’s the kind of restaurant that quickly becomes your spot.
I would give a 2.5 star if posssible. Many great things about this place. Service was great and i tipped 20%, well decorated, clean. Negative is the food. Pad thai is drenched in sweet sauce making it nearly inedible. Probably has 4x more sauce than needed and 2x more sugar than anywhere else. Visually looks cool but way too sweet and saucy. Triple mongolian special was the same. The plate was drenched in an overly sweet dark sauce. Presentation was great but too sweet. I can only think my blood sugar is going to spike like crazy after every bite. Fried rice was fair and a little under seasoned, sushi was great and fairly priced. They are Japanese cooks trying to do asian fusion. They do well on traditional japanese items but poorly on their chinese and thai food. If you want japanese foo
I’ve been coming here for years for the pad Thai. It’s an amazing dish and they are the best I’ve found in the city. It doesn’t even need meat! The staff is kind and courteous, and the manager Antonio was very hospitable. I’ll be back soon, and my only note is that I wish they did catering!
