Chicken Salad Chick

Very clean and attractive eating area in the typical mall setting. Freshness, taste and pricing are hard to beat. Old South sandwich, tomato bisque and drink for under fifteen dollars.

I was apprehensive to try this place since I’m not a big fan of chicken salad, but everything was very tasty! I got a sandwich with a croissant and a scoop on the side. It seems like the sandwich comes with less chicken salad on it, so I’d recommend getting a scoop alone then a croissant on the side & adding it in there yourself.

My wife is a HUGE fan of Chicken Salad Chick. I'm a pretty big fan as well. When this location opened in what formerly was the worst Panera Bread I've ever been to in my life I was elated. The entire wall of this location facing the hallway is glass. Floor to ceiling. It's pretty cool, but if you're trying to hide from someone this, most definitely, is not the place. The staff we encountered was great and the nice lady at the counter asked if I'd like to sample something. I got to sample some of their Spicy Pimento Cheese. It was good and had a good spice level, but to me pimento cheese always seems salty. Chicken salad. Everything that might go with that. As a scoop, as a salad, as a sandwich. Pimento cheese. I like the spicy variants: jalapeno holly and spicy pimento cheese. Reasonably inexpensive and fairly healthy, relative to other counter service food.

After placing a pick-up order; I arrive at the Oxmoor location and patiently waited in line as I was on a meeting call grabbing my lunch. I see a worker bringing a large to go order out, and venture to ask if there is a separate area for pick-ups. To which she rolls her eyes, walks to a small register behind the counter, announces my order is "RIGHT HERE" both rudely & loudly. Then very rudely proceeds to read me on "there is a sign, and you don't waitv in line as she continues to roll her eyes. Really chiquita? As I am not familiar with your process or location, I've every right to ask. Myself, nor my 67 employee staff will use this location again Suffice it to say every OTHER location in the area will now get our business.
