Chicken Salad Chick

I ordered the pasta salad today. It tasted nothing like it usually does. I was so disappointed. I live far so when I got home I was too far away to drive back. It was like an overwhelming amount of sweet mayonnaise and mushy. Not sure if someone made it with additional mayonnaise and mixed the ratio off but it was disappointing.

I’ve never really been to a bad chicken salad chick when it comes to the food. Their system of quality is really consistent across the brand and this location is no different. We had scoops of the Dixie chick with its onion flavor profile, the spicy pimento that has just a bit of a kick, the sassy Scottie that was full of bold flavors, and finally the new southwest with its bits of corn that reminded me of chicken tortilla soup. All were good. However, this is the first location I’ve been to where they had filthy bathrooms.

Great experience. They let me taste a few different chicken salads before I made my selection. The croissant sandwich was delicious. The potato soup was amazing and they give you a tasty cookie.

We visited for lunch on 12/27/19. The restaurant was clean and comfortably warm on a drizzly December afternoon. The cashier was friendly and took our order correctly. Our food was delivered to our table after a short wait and everything was delicious. We had a party of 5 and wish there had been larger booths or tables available. One of our party (without complaints) had to borrow a chair from an empty table and sit at the end of a booth in the aisle. This location is conveniently in the thick of a huge retail sector and near other restaurants and hotels. I-75 is close by. Ample parking. Will definitely eat here again!

I'm personally not impressed with a business that has two things on the menu: the tomato bisque soup and a chocolate rice crispy for a gluten allergy. The vast choices of gluten-free bread out there to add to your menu and training in preparation for your staff would be more profitable. Think about it. I won't be back.
