Chicken King Express

One of my favorite spots in all of SoCal. Their chicken is simply the best. I love to get it with rice and pickles. We typically stop by every week for food, my 3 and 5 year old have loved their food since they started eating which makes life so much easier with two picky little ones. Their customer service is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommend their catering as well. They are super punctual, never miss anything in their orders and everything is always fresh and delicious.

Still going strong as one of our fave local spots for Mediterranean food in the SGV! Been coming here for years and have loved everything we’ve ever tried - you can’t go wrong. Lately we’ve been hooked on their chicken kebab wraps - the pita is thick and soft, the chicken cooked to perfection and so savory along with the garlic sauce, and it comes with rice and hummus. We also like their 1/4 chicken plates and beef kabobs. Their garlic sauce is the best in the area imo - so smooth and not overpowering like a lot of other places. Prices are decent and service is efficient and quick on the to-go orders too. They have lunch specials as well. Plenty of parking and lots of seating indoors and on their patio. A great fast-casual spot for quick local Mediterranean cuisine!

I'm white, but I identify as Armenian. When i came here, the smell made me float up like a cartoon character with a fresh pie. Hampig gave me full service, it was legitimately one of the BEST experiences that I have had IN MY LIFE. And that was BEFORE I even ordered. Better than when my child was born. (Chicken king express is his favorite too btw). This place NEVER disappoints! Bring everyone you know here.

I ordered from their catering menu for 10 people last Saturday night, gave them advance notice of my order, the food is overall excellent. I ordered the chicken and beef kebab and it came with rice, salad, hummus, egg plant dip, sarma (stuffed grape leaves) cheese boreg, garlic paste and bread. Everything was super delicious and my guests were very impressed. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely use them again especially with upcoming holidays. The beef and chicken kebab is super delicious as well as all that it came with. A hidden gem in Monrovia.

Is the first time I come to this restaurant and it has blown my mind the food taste was so great. It looks like it’s like housemate from scratch. I’m so happy to stop by at this restaurant for the first time and I will recommend it to family and friends, and experience good service and good food quality
