Chicken Delight

I’ve been eating Chicken Delight since I was a kid — the kind of spot my grandfather would grab on those random days, and we’d bring it home to my grandma like we just hit the lotto 😂. Even now, every time I come back to Westwood to visit family, this place is still one of my first stops. Not because it tastes exactly the same as when I was little — it doesn’t — but the memory hits the same every time. I always go straight for the chicken and fries. The chicken is hot, crispy, and comforting in that “I grew up on this” kind of way. And the rolls? Still soft. Still doing what they need to do. This is the place to go for fried chicken. They have been making it here for over 40 years and they are a cut above the usual fast food chicken places. There is only one small table and 3 chairs for customers because it is really a take-home chicken place. If you aren't in the mood for chicken they also have fried shrimp, fish, clams, and they also make pizza

Rediculously overpriced... But decent. You can grab some fried chicken, just as good, for over half the price in a grocery store.

Got the buffalo wings, they are not the same. Granted it’s been a few years but they have changed. I’ll admit they were bigger and more meat, but taste was off and batter was not same.

Best chicken restaurant in the area, quick and nice service, am always back for their buffalo wings 😋 Waiting there can be humid and hot when u visit at midday and afternoon
