After reading some of the reviews I will admit I was skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised, my food was fresh and hot and the couple were kind, and accommodating. My chicken sandwich was really good, the texture of the patty itself was different from what I was expecting but good none the less. I would go back again

The owners are so so wonderful, the service is easily 10/10, think anyone who goes in will agree. However the food needs a little more attention. I absolutely love that everything is able to be dairy free, no southern spots do this besides this location I’ve found. The breading tends to fall off, for me I don’t mind. There are only 2 restaurants nearby doing breaded pork chops outside the city, love this item, breading could use a little work. The fries need a little salt. Love love the breaded chicken wings. Overall I recommend this place for the price, flavour and service. If presentation is your #1 top priority skip it. If you close your eyes and eat the food, it’s 100, so comforting and delicious. It’s also locally owned, operated, and a new restaurant.

First time here and will not be back. I ordered the fried catfish. All the breading came off and it tasted horrible. No wonder the place was empty. T

Ordered chicken tenders, Mac n cheese, collard greens and cobbler. The tenders were huge and had nice flavor and crispy. The collards were very good! The Mac n cheese looks and tastes like stouffers which really saddens me. I came looking for some bomb Mac n cheese but this was gross. And then the cobbler was nothing to call home about. Over all I’d come back for those collards any day and the tenders. And I’m hoping one day I see homemade Mac offered 🤞🏼

They have some of the best fried fish I have ever eaten and I'm 75 yrs old. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. I highly recommend this place if you like fried fish. I don't eat Collard greens but several friends have said they are fantastic.
