Terre Haute Farm and Tea Room

Absolutely thrilled with our entire experience at Terre Haute Farm and Tea Room. I was looking for somewhere very special to have a small afternoon tea birthday celebration for my daughter and everything I was finding in RVA area just wasn’t quite right, they were all too *city* vibe for my country girl, so I decided to search up Bed and Breakfasts and local farms and thats when I found Terre Haute! We had a few close friends/family together for delicious tea and treats and then we wondered the property enjoying nature and taking pictures. Our hostess Teresa perfected every detail and created The perfect peaceful afternoon for us, it was exactly what we were hoping to find. We definitely plan to come back and recommend highly!

Staying in this house is like stepping into history. With parts built before America was a country, it's full of old Virginian charm. In fact, with all the antiques and old books it gives major grandma vibes, in the best way. Everything is cozy and comfortable. Over a weeklong trip across Virginia, the two nights I stayed here offered the best night's sleep of the whole trip. It is incredibly restful here. And despite the old world charm, it has all the modern necessities. The sprawling property is beautiful and offers lovely a stroll through the nearby wood and a unique gazebo. One thing to note, of the 5 beds, 2 are twins in a shared room and to get to one of the full beds you must pass through the twin bed room. Booked a “galentine’s” day tea for my wife and a friend and they had a great time! The experience is private, the tea and snacks are delicious and the setting could not be better! Highly recommend the afternoon teas at Terra Haute! One note- don’t use Apple Maps as it will try to send you to a random turn off on Huguenot Springs which is nowhere close to the actual turn.
