Chick-N-Run

So chicken run WAS and has been my favorite place to eat in Zebulon for the past 8 years and we have eaten here often. my fiance and I went there today Saturday the 22nd of November. There was only one other costumer besides us and about 12 kids working the kitchen that did nothing but talk and stand around. The food took about 30 minutes before we got it and the fries were old and could clearly see that they were reheated and still arrived to the table cold and the chicken was so hard that we couldn’t even chew it, my mouth is hurting from trying to eat it. The only good thing I was able to eat was the piece of Texas toast that came with my meal.. very disappointing to say the least, not only wasted my money and still have to go eat somewhere else but now have to eat somewhere else anytim

This use to be our go to spot for wings, after tonight we will NOT return. Spent over $40 for cold wings, tasteless fries, & cold under cooked cheese sticks! Our food was brought out less than 5 mins from ordering… wings were cold, fries were cold, cheese sticks cold. The best part of our meal was the sweet tea! Nothing but young teenagers behind the counter/kitchen hanging out… felt like I was at a highschool meet up. We will NOT be returning! Get it together chick n run

I have had the wings and tenders but came today specifically to try the Deep South BLT. Wow! It was excellent. Thank you to the Dollar General employee and customer who were overheard discussing this sandwich earlier today.

I absolutely LOVE the Wednesday night crew! They make my visit so much more! The food is always freshly cooked and hot! Thank you to every one of you! You guys rock! 😉

The food was excellent, but the service was not good. We came in and ordered at around 3:40. We didn’t get our food until after 4:30. A couple that came in after us received their food long before we did. When we got our food they brought it to us as take out, when we had ordered to eat in the restaurant. The kids that were running the restaurant at the time were too busy goofing off than taking care of the customers. There were time late that no one was at the front at all. This was the view we had the majority of the time.
