Chicago Ramen Algonquin

This place is so good! I tried the vegetable ramen and it was PHENOMENAL. The broth was full of amazing flavor and yet it was light. I’m usually a red miso fan but this is my new favorite by far. I used to go to the Crystal Lake location as it’s right next to my house. I will never go back there after several awful experiences with the manager and issues with cleanliness. I will 100% drive to this new Algonquin location to get the quality, cleanliness, and flavor I’ve come to love from Chicago Ramen!

This was my first visit, and I was completely impressed. The flavors were incredible, especially the beef curry ramen with an egg, which was rich and satisfying. Every bite was a delight. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. I cannot wait to come back.

First time at this place and I must say everything was excellent. The service from the two servers was top-notch—they always had a smile and checked on us at just the right times. As for the ramen, it was incredible; the broth was rich and the noodles were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!

We visited Chicago Ramen for the first time, and the food completely exceeded our expectations! We tried the Red Miso Ramen and the Shrimp Wonton Ramen—both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was fantastic. We’ll definitely be returning!

I visited here for the first time on a certain day in November 2025. I arrived at 11:00am. I wanted to eat a Mabo Tofu Ramen. But they didn't accept the order. So, I ordered a Chicen Karaage Cuurry Rice. That's not bad. It's volumy and a little spicy.
