Chicago Heights Public Library

So disappointing. Went for story time and it was a total embarrassment. Wish they just cancel the activity. The girl read a book for 2 minutes and that was it. It was done. Don’t waste your time coming here. Then the kid area had all broken dirty toys and no sensory room. Never returning

I'm on the website, working from home, trying to find some info on Chicago Heights. YOu do not have any city directories from the past, or a Ancestry Library edition, or Heritage Quest online. This is kind of llimiting for what I needed. My home library in Huntley has all of this.

if you want to study , do homework , or even read a book. you can’t because it’s loud in THE LIBRARY! there should be no reason why you have somebody walking around the library on the phone have a full blown conversation. I tried to give this library multiple chances the people who work there are just as loud as the ones coming in and out.

What a great greeting I received! This is what a public Library should be everywhere! Yes I’m a long way from home but I was treating like the “Queen of Sheba” thank you computer center attendant and Security, you both made my long day end in a pleasant note!!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of information materials and a pleasant environment.
