Do not purchase their deep dish pizza. It’s not deep dish! It’s a super thick crust with light toppings. It felt like I was eating toast. I called to complain and I wasn’t offered a refund or exchange. There went $20 down the drain for medium fake deep dish pizza!

Not quite what I was expecting for a deep dish, but yummy tasting all the same. This was more like a thick pan pizza. Think pizza hut, but waaayyy better! We were so hungry that we dug in and ate before I took a pic. This picture is what we had left of a 10 inch deep dish with sausage. I am not a big eater, so this was enough for 2. Finally, a big shout out to our wonderful server. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would stop here again if we are ever in the area.

Great pizza and salad buffet for a great price. Deep dish is not Chicago Style but still good. My daughter alsonhad Italian Beef and it was good as well.

Review for Chicago Dough Company The atmosphere at Chicago Dough Company is as fantastic as the food itself. I enjoyed the lunch buffet, which included pizza and a salad bar. The lettuce was crisp and clearly fresh—not the prepackaged kind—and the selection of pizzas was incredible. They kept replenishing the pizzas frequently, so everything stayed hot and fresh. The salad bar offered all the classic toppings—tomatoes, cheese, olives, peppers, onions, cottage cheese, and more. They even had a hot soup option, which was a nice touch. The restaurant has a warm and inviting vibe, with cozy booths and plenty of wooden decor. The walls are adorned with old photographs, giving it a charming, neighborhood feel. I’ll definitely be returning!

Chicago Dough is an institution in Bourbonnais. It’s been here for almost 50 years. The lunch and Tuesday dinner buffets especially popular. Service is always good. You may want to ask for Len, who is almost as much an institution there as the restaurant itself. He’s extremely intelligent, charming, and just joy to be around. I would almost go to Chicago Dough just to hang out with him.
