Chianti Trattoria & Pizzeria

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Chianti today. It was our first visit, but it certainly won’t be our last. Seeing a crowd waiting to be seated on a Thursday evening is always a great sign — and they absolutely lived up to the buzz. We arrived just before the rush and were immediately impressed. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. The Rustica salad was crisp and vibrant, the gnocchi in four-cheese sauce was rich and perfectly balanced, and the stuffed chicken was outstanding. We paired our meal with a lovely red wine and finished with a Bellini — the perfect ending. Our server and manager, Ines, was attentive, gracious, and truly exceptional. I have been there twice now and it is absolutely excellent. My mom who is 100% Italian and very picky about Italian restaurants loves this place. Whenever I am there in Camarillo I love going. Great bread, excellent tasty salad and pizza/pasta are wonderful. Prices are reasonable. The other Italian places in Camarillo are not as good.

This Italian restaurant, which opened about a year ago, exudes a lively atmosphere. The room is filled with the joyful chatter of patrons savoring authentic Italian cuisine. Among their offerings, my absolute favorite is the FETTUCCINE ALFREDO with Shrimp. The sauce is simply delectable, complemented by perfectly cooked fettuccine. The addition of shrimp elevates the dish to an extraordinary level. I firmly believe that this dish is the best in class, and I make such a statement only when I’m certain. My wife opted for the Cacio y Pepe Glutton-free option, which, while enjoyable, didn’t quite impress me. However, I insisted that she try my fettuccine Alfredo. To my delight, she was thoroughly impressed and expressed her desire to order it again.

Absolutely wonderful. My entire family absolutely loved their dishes, ranging from classic pastas (spaghetti bolognese and ziti al forno) with ripe, fresh sauces and delectable cheese, to red bell peppers stuffed with mashed potato paired with prosciutto-wrapped chicken, and just the most tender, perfectly cooked salmon. My dad usually really dislikes this general category of food and he had the highest praises I've ever heard him give restaurant food! Even the pre-meal bread was perfect. The prosecco was delectable as well. Thanks to Davide for making us smile the moment we walked in, and to Victor for introducing us to the finer details of each meal! They brought so much fun personality to the experience - that alone made us eager to leave a review before we even got to the food!

I had the rack of lamb and a couple of pieces of pizza. My wife had the sole with artichokes and roasted tomatoes. The most common word uttered by my wife during dinner was amazing! Everything really was!
