I had a wonderful experience at Chez Daniel! The mussels were absolutely delicious, and the squash soup special was really flavorful — definitely worth trying. The steak was a little on the chewy side but still tasty and well-seasoned. What really stood out was the service. Another big plus: they don’t close for an afternoon break on Sundays like many other restaurants, which makes it super convenient. Overall, great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d happily come back!

We stopped here for lunch and it turned out to be an amazing decision! They kindly let me order from their dinner menu, which I really appreciated since I’m not the biggest fan of sandwiches. I had the ribs with potatoes and they were absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender it just fell apart with a touch, and the demi-glace sauce was rich and flavorful. On top of the ribs they added crispy bacon mixed with onions – the perfect finishing touch! 🤤 My boyfriend ordered the French onion burger and he really enjoyed it too. He even said he wishes there were more places like this in our area. The atmosphere on the terrace was wonderful – plenty of sunshine, a cozy autumn city vibe, and fun Halloween decorations. 🎃🍂🌞

Great place for a bite of warm food on a freezing cold day. Excellent service, nice atmosphere. Food was tasty, especially the squash soup.

Absolute pleasure enjoying the soft French ambiance topped with delicious food. Although I didn’t capture my meals, the salmon, burger, fish and chips were delightful. Will be returning again soon!

Cozy little French restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating options right in the heart of Frenchtown. Definitely a must go if you’re in the mood for some French food. High quality ingredients and a lot of love in the food! French Onion soup is a classic and they nailed it with a deep onion flavor and a nice portion of bread on top. Hamburger was phenomenal as well and had a very Smokey taste. Fish and Chips were great, but not my favorite. Desert was definitely the star of the show with a delicious crème brûlée and fruit tart. Both just melted in your mouth.
