We stumbled upon this place by accident while looking for a lunch spot by the highway. I was a little skeptical since it's inside a gas station. But we decided to trust the reviews and check it out. What a nice surprise! We got the fried bucket/set meal for 28 dollars. It came with generous portions of fried chicken, biscuits, potato wedges, and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. Both the chicken and wedges were perfectly fried without being greasy. The chicken came in big pieces and they were good quality meat. They even have a couple tables outside with umbrellas if you want to sit down.
Chester's is some pretty good fried chicken from a gas station. Hot enough you had to wait for it to cool off a bit. The potato wedges also crisp and hot 4 large tenders and a handful of wedges and a drink for 12.00 not a bad deal considering how expensive everything has gotten anymore.
By far the best fried chicken in NYS! I always make a point to stop for their finger-licking good strips when driving through - especially if they’re fresh out of the fryer. Absolutely delicious!
When we discovered this chicken, we stopped getting KFC or any other prepared chicken. Really good, crispy, not greasy and very flavorful.
Absolutely amazing chicken. The staff is great as well. Restrooms are clean. Very enjoyable experience
