Chen's Asian Grill

It's slightly above average Chinese food...prices are also pretty good, especially considering the portions and amount of protein/veg they add in food. Was a bit disappointed they didn't have fried oysters (as advertised online) or BBQ spare ribs (wasn't advertised online). I'm nit picking a bit, but egg rolls could have been improved by adding carrots and inside environment could be revamped a bit. Waitress/phone lady/hostess was very busy but very nice.

We stopped by for some egg drop soup. Did not like the wonton in the soup, but maybe because the wrappers were thick. Tried the rangoons (okay). The lunch special was pretty delicious.

We got take out once and it was ok. Chicken was floppy and a strange texture. There are not a lot of options in Surry for lunch so we figured we would try dining in. When we entered the lady was running back and forth acting stressed and frazzled. She was rude when I picked up the take out as well. We couldn't find a clean table or a booth that wasn't broken. We saw actually mold in the Siracha and decided to leave and went somewhere else. They definitely don't care about customers dining in. Maybe it culaught them on a bad day but when the front of the restaurant is falling apart and there is moldy condiments I will take my business elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Amazing food, amazing service, menus were a little sticky and can use more condiments, besides that, very good spot. I definitely recommend the chicken skewers, very authentic flavor

1)clean restaurant,spacious 2)portion size-good 3)quality of food-poor(as per me) 4)spring rolls were ok, but rest of the 2 items were not good 5)the prices are up & the menu doesn’t show the current prices
