Cheng Du Restaurant

I visited Cheng Du Restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and had a really enjoyable experience. The food was overall pretty good and satisfying, and the portion sizes are quite generous, especially for the chicken dishes and noodles. The hot and sour soup was a standout—flavorful and comforting, and I’d highly recommend it. The Peking noodles were also quite good, with great texture and a hearty portion. The Szechuan tofu was okay, though not my favorite dish of the meal. The real highlight was the chilli chicken—excellent flavor, perfectly spiced, and served in a very generous portion. Overall, a solid spot for Chinese food and great value for money, especially if you enjoy spicy dishes.

Opened the box and thought I was being pranked. Worst PuPu platter for 1 I have ever seen and tasted. Everything was cold and the chicken wings were so dinky and small. It seemed as if just all of it was sitting out and re heated. The spare ribs were hard as a rock and had no sauce on them, so dry. I never seen a Chinese place do wings like this. **There phone number doesn’t work, couldn’t even call to share my input** Worst 17$ I have ever spent

We had one of the best meals ever last night and it was at Cheng Du! This is a nice restaurant with great atmosphere. While we did not have wine, we absolutely LOVE how they have their bottles stored. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, and couldn't be better. Food was absolutely delicious and we surprised our waitress when she checked on us to find we'd finished everything! We will be back, probably order twice as much so we can have leftovers. You will not regret coming here!

I think it's the best Chinese food around. All of their chicken dishes are juicey and not dry and the fried rice doesnt taste like 2 day old mush like some other places. It's prett ty consistent too. I have one small complaint though. I wish their lo mein wasn't as salty.

A bit far for us, about 45 minutes away, but worthwhile for us. It wasn't very busy as usual. It is likely the time we pick, which is around mid-afternoon. We like it quiet. The food was good and hot as it should be. Served quickly. My wife loves their lemon chicken and dry, stir fried green beans. Me, I like the simple and home style house fried rice and hot and sour soup. Sorry, no pictures though my wife took some. My wife would go weekly if it were closer.
