Chef's Cafe

The Chicken Salad is hands down the best I’ve had in Cincinnati, perfectly creamy, not too heavy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients (I heard they source local/Amish produce, and it shows). I paired it with their Potato Leek soup, which was equally incredible. It’s rare to find a place that nails the simple things so perfectly. If you are in the Sharonville/Fields Ertel area, do not drive past this place. It is a total gem.

What a hidden gem! Fantastic, friendly service and a wide selection of options for everyone. Happy to see a few vegetarian items on the menu. I got the egg & cheese sammie with potato salad and will be back to try the egg salad and pimento cheese, and the broccoli salad side! Classic diner vibes and plenty of seating make this a great stop for quick lunch or takeout.

I ordered the Italian sub with coleslaw, pasta salad, and potato salad as sides. All of the food tasted fresh and delicious. The bread on the sandwich, in particular, was REALLY good. It reminded me of the taste and texture of an Olive Garden breadstick, but better. I loved that the sides were all reasonably priced, too, which allowed me to try more.

I travel for work and I gotta say these folk are some of the friendliest staff I’ve encountered. Made me feel welcomed and like a regular. Seeing so many people come in and they were going by first name basis with their customers, I knew this place was special. Food tastes fresh and was delicious. I love how every week it’s something different for the chefs special. You can feel the pride from the staff and it’s awesome. Keep up the great work:)

In short, go eat here! We were out at an appointment and were looking for something different from where we live. My wife loves sandwiches and Googled restaurants near where we were. We seen the Chefs Cafe come up and advertised “world famous chicken salad” and sandwiches. So we ventured there and it was in an old looking strip type center by a gas station and laundromat. From the outside, we could have driven by and never given it a second glance but we are SOOOO glad we stopped in. The young lady at the register was beyond helpful, kind and even gave us samples of the chicken salad. I even asked the gentleman that was working behind her making sandwiches what he liked and he was also very inviting and helpful. He even commented on what we were already thinking😆.
