Chef Ngee Kitchen

I came to literally the cleanest and best tasting Nigerian Restaurant in Maryland! Chef Ngee food is popping ohhhh! Wow! I am shocked that Jollof is this tasty. I have so many other places I have eaten that are no where near this clean. The customer service is amazing! The food prices are excellent and the Turkey is awesome 👍🏾 😎. The bathrooms are immaculate and super clean! This is next level restaurant style! Go! 🚗 The food is cooked fresh so calm down! This isn't McDonald's!!!

Exceptionally clean restaurant with friendly staff and service. I loved the drive-through concept. I actually observed two customers get their food through the drive-through serve while I was there. Try the jollof if you are not sure what to get. Bathrooms were pleasantly clean and there is more than enough parking for you and your party. Icing on the cake? Bruster’s is right next door for desert. Apparently the two establishments have a discount program - buying $20 worth of meals at Chef Ngee gets you discount at Busters.

Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, good portion size, and the temperature the food was perfect (I like my food hot 🔥!). The amount of spiciness was on target 🎯. The cook was very friendly and hospitality. I highly recommend this restaurant. Overall 9 out 10.

Excellent service and great food. I’m happy my money wasn’t wasted. I loved the chin chin too—so soft, fresh, and delicious (not hard at all). When I’m back in Maryland, I’ll definitely visit again.

From reading other reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue that has not yet been addressed. This was my first visit, and I was genuinely excited because my past experiences with African cuisine have always been very positive. I was initially told my order would take 20–25 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 40 minutes. While the staff was apologetic and courteous about the delay, which I appreciated, the real disappointment came when I received my food. When I opened my order at home, I was shocked by the portion sizes. Although the bag felt heavy and appeared to hold a generous amount of food, the container was overwhelmingly filled with rice and only two small pieces of meat.
