Let’s just say I stood there standing waiting for the lady to come acknowledge me .! Then I get home and my daughter is saying mami there is a spider in the cupcake I thought she was lying until I actually looked ! I ate a pastry myself I feel sick to my stomach do not get anything from this bakery . I checked reviews and it’s an ongoing thing in this place with bugs .

Great experience! I needed a last minute cake for a wedding celebration. They had an incredibly fast turn around. Very much appreciated because it was a last minute request for sure. The cake tasted great, the price was incredibly reasonable. It was exactly what we needed and was beautiful. THANK YOU!!

ASCO! compre unos cheesecake de piña y al morder veo algo negro! Pense que era de la misma piña pero era una araña!! OJO cuando coman de ahi 🤢🤢 I just ordered two cheesecakes pineapple and as I bit into one I saw something brown I thought it was a pineapple chunk gone bad but when I look into it it’s a SPIDER ! careful with your foods 🤢🤮

Love the bread here at Chaves Bakery. I usually buy in the mornings. My families favorite is their breakfast sandwiches warmed/toasted. They also sell cakes, pastries and coffee. We prefer the one on State Street in Bridgeport CT.

I've not had a bad experience there. But I don't frequent this one as often as the one on king's why (which is great). They have more variety than Madison Ave, more space than kings hwy. I got what I needed fairly quickly. Only thing I can say negatively is they need to clean up the items in the glass display. The thing about glass displays is us customers can see it all. So every cookie that'd fallen out its dish, every empty tray with crumbs and frosting left behind, could be seen. I got 2 black and white cookies. Some cannolis and 2 cupcakes. They were super fresh and nicely packed. Those black and whites are my weakness - "Look to the cookie!"
