Charm Thai and Sushi

The food at Charm Thai and Sushi was absolutely delicious! The service was exceptional — the staff were super kind, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. There’s a great variety of dishes to try, and everything we ordered was full of flavor. The portion sizes are reasonable, and while the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality and experience make it worth it.

Decent, but not standout. We went there because a friend raved about it but I wasn’t really impressed. The flavors are somewhat bland, and certainly not hot for Thai food, even when I requested Thai hot. It was not even warm. I did find the tom kha gai flavorful, with a healthy portion and lots of chicken. Service was fine, with friendly staff and a casual setting inside. Finally, parking is free, with plenty of it.

My girlfriend’s family and I had a lovely experience. We were seated in the corner booth with her parents and grandparents on these vibrant, emerald colored, soft cushions. Our waitress who was very informative gave us many different options for us to choose from. We went with both Thai and sushi options and shared amongst the table. The colors from the food were incredible, but it tasted even better. We could barely finish our desert, and as we were about to leave we totally forgot they were still sitting on the plate. One of the waitresses stopped us and asked if we would like to take a to go box, they even gave us some sweet dipping sauce in a small container for home. A lovely time, sure to return!

The service was excellent. The food tasted very good, but wasn't "Thai" in a typical sense. I say this after living and working in Thailand for 20 years. So although the food was fine, it wasn't typically Thai IMHO. The spicing wasn't right and the presentation wasn't "Thai". Even the serving of the Thai 4 spice tray with the food was missing. But again, the food tasted good and was enjoyed. The service was great and the atmosphere pleasant. It's a nice place that I would revisit......just not typically Thai.
