Charlie's Chicken Fort Gibson

Buffet was a great value! Fried chicken, smoked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, baked beans, rolls, salad, cobbler, ice cream, and so much more! Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Restaurant clean. Wonderful hometown atmosphere and nice folks. Can't wait to come back! Update: Came back again.... consistently delicious with excellent folks! We look forward to coming back every time we are in the area! Thank you for being the stop we look forward to on our way to Tahlequah. 😊

What a great fast food place! Lovely buffet, tasty food, great variety and fantastic prices. Senior buffet was $7.79 on 1/16/23. Food is not really hot so if that's critical, order from the menu. Almost completely self serve, Styrofoam plates, plastic utensils. EDIT 12/9/23 2nd visit ordered from menu. Chunks, potatoes, green beans all hot. But new Chicken Fried Steak $6.99 special was so bad as to be almost inedible - husband left most of it in trash. ☹️ Bland and weird texture.

I have always had great food from this location! I have never been inside to enjoy the buffet, but I hear it’s pretty great! Staff is always friendly in the drive through window. I will definitely be back! If you have never had a chicken chunk, give it a try! It’s a boneless white meat “chunk”…. It’s the Charlie’s strip, more less. Also, they make delicious salads! I get the church salad with “buffet ranch”. Can’t go wrong with any of the side options. I am very familiar with Charles’s and know they all taste good. Keep up the excellent work Chicken Crew! =)

Went by about 12:30pm and got a half pint of livers that were so greasy I coudnt eat them. 2nd time I have eaten here and the food is just not what it used to be to be. Probably won’t return.

My wife and I were on vacation and went to Ft Gibson. We took a chance and stopped in at the Charlie's Chicken there at the turn off to the Fort. We were worried because there are similarly named places at Loves truck stops around and they are not so good. We didn't know what to order so we just did the buffet. We were so surprised! Everything was good! Especially the BBQ/grilled chicken! It was hard to eat just a little of each thing on the buffet without getting more than you can eat. It was clean, cool, and comfortable. I sure wish there were some near Ft Worth.
